Durable, water-resistant, and dreamy to sew, waxed canvas is our favorite fabric for bag making. This particular waxed canvas has a slightly polished finish and develops a vintage leather appearance with use. It has a softer drape than our heavier-weight waxed canvases. 

Sold by the ½ yard. (1 Quantity = ½ yard)

NOTE:  Orders of one yard or more will be folded, resulting in creases, unless the surcharge for rolled fabric is added.

I sewed this into a tote and it held a crisp shape without any interfacing, which I wasn't expecting from 12 oz. The water resistance is real too, my coffee spill beaded right off instead of soaking in. It's already starting to soften into that worn leather look along the folds.

The polished finish on this 12 oz canvas made it glide through my machine way easier than other waxed fabrics I've tried. It's stiff enough to hold a structured shape but still creases nicely where I fold it. The sage color has a subtle depth that looks even better in person.
