Durable, water-resistant, and dreamy to sew, waxed canvas is our favorite fabric for bag making. This particular waxed canvas has a dry waxed finish with a firm handle and develops a distressed, worn-in appearance.

Sold by the ½ yard. (1 Quantity = ½ yard)

NOTE: Orders of one yard or more will be folded, resulting in creases, unless the surcharge for rolled fabric is added.

Grace ★★★★★

The dry waxed finish means no greasy residue on my hands, which I didn't expect. Sewed up into a tote that's already softening at the corners where I fold it. Water just beads right off.

Eva ★★★★★

That firm handle holds shape beautifully when I'm sewing structured tote bags, and the gray color has just enough depth to make the stitching pop. It creases where I fold it and keeps those lines, which gives my projects that worn-in look right away.

Sofia E. ★★★★★

The dry wax finish means no greasy residue on my hands while sewing, which I appreciated. It holds a firm shape so my totes don't collapse, and I can already see the distressed look starting to come through on the corners.
