10 oz Plum Waxed Canvas

The slightly polished finish on this canvas is gorgeous in person, and it fed through my machine without any of the gumming up I expected from waxed fabric. Made a dopp kit and the water just beads right off it. Already plotting my next bag with the leftover yardage.

The plum color is gorgeous in person and the waxed surface has that polished sheen you can see in the photos. I’ve handled a lot of canvas and this one cuts cleanly without fraying, which made sewing the bag lining a total pleasure.

Cut a bag pattern out of this and the needle glided through like butter — the wax coating makes it dreamy to sew, no fraying at all. After a week of daily use that polished finish is already picking up that vintage leather look I was hoping for.
