The leather pieces came already cut and the holes lined up perfectly, which saved me a ton of measuring. Hardware feels solid too, not the flimsy stuff I've gotten in other kits.

The leather is thicker than I expected and took a nice burnish on the edges. Hardware feels solid, and the kit had every rivet and ring I needed with a bit left over. Stitching this up was the most relaxing weekend project I've had in a while.

I've made two of these totes now and the chestnut leather is gorgeous, with a really even finish that takes stitching well. The hardware kit saved me a trip to the craft store since everything from the rivets to the D-rings was included and matched perfectly. My only pause was cutting into the hide,
