The leather straps feel really sturdy, not flimsy like on some other kits I've tried. The zipper closure was surprisingly smooth to install and works perfectly.

Switching it from backpack to tote with one strap pull is honestly the best part, I do it every time I hop off the train. The zipper runs smooth and the whole thing came together in an afternoon.
