The bakelite mallet has a nice weight to it that makes hammering rivets feel solid without being exhausting. This kit covers the basics I needed to start building bags without buying pieces separately, which saved me from a lot of guesswork.

Putting rivets in with the included mallet was surprisingly satisfying — they set perfectly the first time. This bundle saved me from buying a bunch of tools separately for my first bag project.

The mallet has a nice solid feel to it, though I wish the handle was a bit longer. The rivet included seems sturdy enough for small projects.
