10 oz Rust Waxed Canvas

Bought this for a tote bag project and the slightly polished finish made it glide through my machine way easier than the rougher waxed canvas I've used before. It's stiff enough to hold a boxy shape but softens up nicely as you handle it, and the color already looks like it's been broken in for year

The 10 oz weight is the perfect middle ground, stiff enough to hold a bag's shape but still pleasant to sew through. I was worried the wax would gum up my needle, but the slightly polished finish fed smoothly and it's already starting to look like worn leather.

I've sewn three tote bags with this and the 10 oz weight holds its shape beautifully without being stiff. It's water-resistant enough that a spilled coffee beaded right off, and the waxed finish is already aging into that vintage look.
