Two projects in one! A convertible bag that tucks away inside a matching zipper pouch. This kit includes all of the ingredients you need to make this bag.

This durable, all-fabric bag converts from tote to backpack and can be tucked away inside the matching zipper pouch for easy carrying. It features convertible fabric straps, a two-compartment exterior pocket, French seams, extra-strong stitches for durability, and boxed corners for plenty of carrying capacity.

This kit includes all of the waxed canvas you need*, a paper pattern template for cutting your fabric pieces, an 8" brass zipper with a leather pull and rivet, and access to the full PDF pattern. Option to add the online class (at 50% off!), essential tools, and paper instructions booklet.

*Note: Fabric pieces are not pre-cut. (You'll have some extra waxed canvas that can be used to make more zipper pouches, if you'd like!)

Olivia ★★★★★

The convertible design totally surprised me — the whole bag folds into its own little zipper pouch, so it lives in my purse until I need it. Fabric feels sturdy too, not flimsy like I worried. Sewing it took an evening but it was genuinely fun.

Ella ★★★★★

The zipper pouch is surprisingly roomy even with the bag stuffed inside, and the fabric feels sturdy enough for daily use. I've already made two—one for groceries and one as a gift.

Kevin ★★★★★

I wasn't expecting the bag to fold up into its own zipper pouch, but that little trick is honestly my favorite part. Fabric feels sturdy enough for groceries, and the pattern pieces were already cut so I finished it in one evening.
