I've been using this board under my strap end punches and it's already saved my workbench from dozens of dings. The 6x6 size is perfect for small tool work and the self-healing surface really does bounce back after each hit.

The self-healing surface has taken some serious abuse from my strap end punches and there's barely a mark on it. It's the perfect size to sit under whatever I'm working on without taking over my whole bench.

I was worried about damaging my desk when punching thick leather straps, but this self-healing board takes the abuse surprisingly well. The 6-inch size is plenty for most of my projects.
