Struck it a few times with my rubber mallet and the alignment stayed true, no slipping off the post. The concave head cups the rivet exactly as intended, even on the smaller sizes I use for brackets. Takes the guesswork out of a tedious job.

The concave tip sits perfectly over the rivet post, and a few firm taps with my hammer set it flush in seconds without any bending. I've used it on several sizes now, and it handles them all cleanly.

The steel head feels solid in hand and sits perfectly flat on the rivet post, so a few firm whacks with my mallet and the flare came out even on both sides. I've set about twenty rivets so far and haven't had to reposition it once.
